winter wonderland gift exchange

I’ve often seen gift exchanges around the  blogosphere, but I never really considered participating until recently. Jess and Amy hosted an adorable winter-themed gift exchange to save us from EXTRA Christmas madness, and I was so excited to hop on board.

I was lucky enough to be paired up with the sweetest blogger, Tori, from Becoming the Wilkinsons. She has an adorable little daughter, Natalie, and as a young mama myself, we quickly connected. After exchanging a few emails, I knew that Target was the destination for all things gift exchange for her, so I snagged a few pink themed things, perused their Valentine’s Day display and got her a few little bangles so she’d have a little extra treat – just for her. Check out her post here

Tori sent me the cutest package, too, and I really should have photographed it before I went to town on it. Full disclosure: send a prego a bag of Lindt chocolate balls, and they won’t make it home from the post office. #Truth. Tori took amazing stock of my running wishlist before Christmas, noted that, of the things listed, I didn’t get a top-notch water bottle and totally blew me away!

She bought me the most amazing infuser bottle (which I’ve already used multiple times – hence the water spots) and an amazing lavender wax candle that has soothed my frazzled nerves on a daily basis lately! And, again, not pictured was a bag of Lindt chocolate balls, which I devoured. Tori knocked it out of the park! Thank you so much, Tori, for the thoughtful gifts! I’m so glad we were paired up for this exchange.

I’m so glad I participated in this exchange. It got me out of my little comfort zone and helped me meet some more great bloggers, which I’m so grateful for! To check out the other ladies who participated in the exchange, check below.
