our 2024 christmas card

our 2024 christmas card

Only one day ’till Christmas! I’ve been soaking up family time here in New Hampshire and, frankly, shirking all my duties and responsibilities beyond the absolute necessary, and it’s been glorious. There are certain things that have been in the back of the mind the whole time – like the fact that our dog, Danny, is really sick and we left that responsibility on our good friends in Alaska, and that sucks. But we also know that this time away will give us the opportunity to get our proverbial stuff together and get down to business when we arrive in Alaska again next week. But, since it’s Christmas Eve, it’s time to share our 2024 Christmas Card.

Our 2024 Christmas Card from Basic Invite

I do this post each year because it’s been so fun to look back at all our cards from the years prior and see how our little family has grown and evolved throughout the years. So, I’ll follow suit and share them all again because it always baffles me how simultaneously fast and slow each year goes – and how much our kids have grown each year, as well. Our 2024 Christmas card is a testament to our time in Alaska, and I love it. We chose to go with Basic Invite for our cards again, and I’m biased, but I love the selection, the prices, the fast shipping, and more. They’re definitely our fav!

This is a little slice, or reminder, of each home we’ve made, each place we’ve lived, and all the memories we’ve made each year. It’s a precious reminder that time is a thief, life is fleeting, and there is truly just something so magical at looking back. So, here we go…

This is the first year in four years that we’re spending Christmas with family. There’s a sweetness to both sides of the coin. Alone, we create our own quiet traditions and memories. Together, our kids get to experience that same familial Christmas magic we love so much. I’m also just grateful to spend time away from Alaska as we prepare for the home stretch.

Because, ready or not, we’re heading into the final stretch. We move in July, and our time in Alaska is running low. We’ve passed the winter solstice. We’re gaining daylight again, and there is so much excitement ahead. For now though, here’s our 2024 Christmas card. To all those who celebrate – Merry Christmas! For those who don’t – happy holidays! May your season be merry and bright.
